Pain or pain in the left chest is often assumed to be an indication of a heart attack. In fact, it could be that the pain has nothing to do with heart disease, but other health complaints, namely:

Pain and heat sensation in the chest does not always mean a sign of a heart attack. This complaint can take antacid drugs to reduce the pain and heat sensation. Chest pain

Pancreatitis is a situation of inflammation of the pancreas which is a flat gland extending behind the stomach. Although it is located in the stomach, excessive pain will be felt around the chest, which can make you think this is a heart attack. With the right diagnosis, pancreatitis can be treated.

Shortness due to panic

Do you suffer from work stress, depression, or anxiety? If so, then you are at a higher risk of suffering from panic attacks. Symptoms are almost the same as heart palpitations, chest tightness, sweaty palms and dizziness.

Pain when breathing

It appears that people who suffer from costochondritis will consider pain in their chest to be a symptom of a heart attack. In the case of costochondritis, there is inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs which causes pain in the chest. When you want to breathe, usually the pain will appear on both sides of the chest. One way to detect costochondritis is to lift your arms above your head.

Chest Pain (GERD)

For those who suffer from chronic ulcers, in this case, you may suffer from Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). This is mild acid reflux where stomach acid flows back to the esophagus which connects the stomach and mouth. In severe cases, GERD needs to be treated with surgery. But for those who are in the early stages, lifestyle changes can reduce the discomfort caused by GERD.
